Quotas must be obtained by the Command Master Chief, Training Officer/Petty officer or Command Career Counselor by contacting the navy Leader Training Unit at Comm (202) 433-3292, DSN 288-3292
Classes will be conducted at the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center (Bldg. 351), Naval Station Anacostia. Classes begin at 0645. If students are late on the start date, they may lose their quota to walk in personnel.
Physical training is part of the course. Student TAD orders must contain a statement signed by a medical officer if unable to participate in physical training. Students not under orders must participate in physical training. Students not under orders must have this statement on command letterhead. All students will receive a height/weight/body fat evaluation during check-in. Members that are not within standards will not receive credit for course completion until within standards.
Cancellation procedure: Due to the volume of requests for quotas, the Navy Leader Training Unit must be notified by Training Officers, Command Career Counselors or Command Master Chiefs, or cancellations at least two weeks prior to the course convening date. Commanding officers will be notified of no show personnel.
Ensure personnel attending class are aware of uniform regulations for the Naval District Washington.
